1. Where does the Asseco Group operate?

Asseco Poland runs business activities directly on its own as well as indirectly through a number of subsidiaries of the Asseco Group. The Group companies operate in over a dozen countries, among others in Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Dennmark, Czech Republic, Hungary, Germany, Austria, Lithuania, Romania, Serbia, and Croatia.

 

 2. Who is the owner of Asseco Poland?

Asseco Poland is a public company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. According to applicable regulations, shareholders are obliged to disclose their equity interest in a listed company provided they hold at least 5% of voting rights at the General Meeting of Shareholders of that company. 3. How is Asseco Poland organized?

The organizational structure of Asseco Poland is very clear and orderly both internally as well as in terms of distribution of competence among the Group companies operating in Poland. The Company has been divided into several Business Divisions, each being responsible for a precisely determined group of clients in a given sector of economy. Furthermore, domestic operations of Asseco Poland are divided into areas of competence assigned to subsidiary companies in order to optimize their business efforts and eliminate mutual competition.

Asseco Poland shares may be purchased on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. In order to do so you will need to set up a securities account with any brokerage office in Poland. 11. Does Asseco Poland pay any dividend?

Yes. In line with the adopted policy, every year Asseco Poland pays its shareholders a dividend in the amount of 10-40% of the Parent Company net earnings. Further information is available [here].

 

12. When should I buy shares in order to be eligible to receive the dividend for 2008?

The principles for payment of a dividend for 2008 were established by the Company’s Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders, in a resolution passed on 26 May 2009. The dividend right shall be acquired on 10 June 2009; therefore, taking into account the National Depository for Securities transaction settlement period, shares of Asseco Poland should be purchased on 5 June 2009 at the latest.
